Eric C. Bjorgen, CFA

Eric is a Senior Analyst for The Leuthold Group, LLC. He is Co-Portfolio Manager for the Leuthold Asset Allocation Fund, the Leuthold Undervalued and Unloved Fund, the Leuthold Core Investment Fund, the Leuthold Select Industries Fund, the Leuthold Global Clean Technology Fund, the Leuthold Hedged Equity Fund, and provides analytical support for the Grizzly Short Fund.

In addition, Eric is a recognized authority on the flows to mutual funds and the corresponding supply/demand relationship to the stock market. He is a member of the investment strategy committee, a key contributor to the monthly Perception for the Professional publication, and authors various special reports throughout the year.

Eric has been a guest writer/contributor for various financial periodicals, and is regularly cited in leading trade journals. In 1999 Eric was a co-author with Steve Leuthold of the Corporate Insiders’ Big Block Transactions special study, which won the prestigious Charles H. Dow award.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management with a BS in Finance, Eric is also a CFA charter holder and a member of the Twin Cities Society of Securities Analysts.
